The CH Surface Aerator provides an economical and effective solution for oxygen transfer and mixing in aerobic wastewater treatment systems.
A turbine-type aerator is positioned near the liquid surface to create a vortex. This action lifts oxygen-deficient liquid from the lower portion of the basin, moves it through the oxygenation zone, and distributes the aerated liquid throughout the basin.
The equipment supports both oxygen transfer and basin circulation, helping maintain effective mixing while reducing the need for additional draft tubes or anti-vortex baffles in suitable applications.
The CH Surface Aerator uses a turbine-type impeller positioned near the surface of the liquid. As the turbine rotates, it creates a vortex that draws oxygen-deficient liquid upward from the lower portion of the basin.
The liquid is moved through the oxygenation zone and discharged radially across the surface. This provides oxygen transfer while supporting circulation and mixing throughout the treatment basin.
The combination of oxygen transfer and high liquid movement makes the equipment suitable for a range of aerobic wastewater treatment applications.
