The CH-SMT Center Drive is designed to provide reliable low-speed rotational movement for clarifier systems in water and wastewater treatment applications.

The drive uses a rugged rack coupling system with tight-fit installation and supporting bearings to provide efficient torque transmission. Its compact construction supports smooth operation, reduced transmission losses, and long-term equipment performance.

The CH-SMT Center Drive can be configured for clarifier tanks with diameters ranging from approximately 3 to 50 metres, depending on the project requirements, tank arrangement, operating load, and required torque.

Reliable Low-Speed Torque Transmission

Clarifier systems require controlled, low-speed movement to rotate scraper mechanisms and transfer the required operating torque throughout the tank.

The CH-SMT Center Drive uses a rugged and rigid rack coupling system designed to support efficient torque transmission. Tight-fit installation and supporting bearings help maintain stable movement while reducing unnecessary transmission losses.

Its compact drive arrangement is designed for dependable operation, minimal maintenance, and long operating life across a range of clarifier tank sizes.

CH-SMT-X Center Drive Series

The CH-SMT-X Series is available with different motor power, output speed, torque capacity, and reduction ratio configurations. Final selection should be based on clarifier diameter, scraper load, required torque, and project operating conditions.
